Barre Classes

Barre combines pilates, ballet and yoga for a low-impact strength and flexibility workout. It involves lots of small isometric movements engaging specific muscles as well as stretching to create, long, lean and toned muscles. Our barre class is designed for small groups of 6-8 people. This allows our practitioner to work closely with our clients to get the most out of each session. We provide all the equipment, so you just need to arrive in something comfortable to move in. No previous experience is needed. Just let us know beforehand of any specific injuries or goals you are looking to achieve. There is no limit to how long you can attend for but we encourage regular weekly attendance for the best outcome.

Lower Limb Rehabilitation Classes

Our Lower Limb Rehab classes are overseen by a Strength and Conditioning Coach. They last 45 mins and are overseen by a Strength and Conditioning Coach. The season is set up in a circuit training style with exercises on each station modified to each individual’s ability and goals. This is a great way to progress your strength rehab with supervision and access to appropriate progressive resistance. If you have had a significant lower limb injury or are pre or post surgery we highly recommend completing rehab in blocks of six weeks, with physio reviews along the way, to maximise your recovery. To sign up for rehab you would need to have seen one of our team for a pre-assessment (including VALD testing). Please enquire for further details.

Matwork Pilates Beginner Classes

This is the most accessible type of Pilates and is great for beginners looking to learn technique using their body weight for resistance. It’s predominantly floor based exercises on a mat. Our class is with an APPI instructor, Alex. APPI was developed by an Australian husband and wife physio team. The format includes modifications to improve muscle activation, especially when pain is present. This enables us to maximise it’s benefit for anyone in rehabilitation and injury recovery.
