Sonja is originally from Bath and has been a Chartered Physiotherapist since 1996. She spent the early years of her career in the NHS alongside a position with the Bath Rugby Academy (1996-2008). Along the way the rugby role developed into the full time position of Academy Physio. She has since spent a considerable amount of time working across a variety of professional sports. With the English Institute of Sport she spent eight years supporting multiple Team GB athletes across both summer and winter sports at the EIS multi-sport Clinic at Bath University.
Sonja spends a lot of her spare time heading to the beaches of north Cornwall (stopping off at Dart’s Farm at every opportunity!) She can often be found sweating out the days stresses at spin classes or in the gym with Dee at Strength For Endurance.
